Re: x trainer clutch

I had my speedo calibrating that it was doing 199 kph while it parked. I had just washed it though.

The recorded speed was all over the shop there for a while.

... mate has phoned beta UK and they would not have a bad word said about the dealer, when he picked the bike up it had 8 minutes on the clock,and the speedo reading of 67 mph !!!! On a bike that is not run in !!!!!

There is another thread about the battery in the speedo. i and others have suffered this problem. I have even received a replacement from Beta which is just the same. Now I have resorted to removing the battery and running a power lead from the bike ...

everything will be reset to zero as you are installing a new speedo. as the memory of hours and km is inside your old smashed computer. and there is no way to get it out and put in to the new unit. my current computer shows only 14 hours but there was ...

Smashed speedo

I hit a tree on the weekend and totalled the speedo, so I am looking at just replacing it with another stock one (with speedo protector)
Question is, will the hours/km travelled show on the new unit?

... hard enduro miles later and bike is solid as can be and lives up to what I wanted 110%. Minor issues I dealt with were back lite battery change on speedo unit, and coolant hose loosened during ride (never checked them since new). Pretty much destroyed the stock Michelin tire as knobs either chunked ...
