Scott,

Still loving this bike! Haven't put a ton of miles on her this summer with family vacations and fire bans just about everywhere. I did the Smugglers at Capital forest last month and the 390 was awesome there. As soon as we get some moisture and riding areas open up, I will put some serious Fall riding in.

Have you had issues with the front brake locking up much too easily? Is it extra grabby?

Also, did you get the stock seat and how is it? Still like sitting on a 2x4?

Hey Firffighter, what kind of fuel range are you getting on the 390 RR-S? I just put a deposit down on the 2018 390, and wonder if I need the 3.1 gallon tank.

That's awesome! You're going to love the bike, I know I do!

I'm getting 55-65 miles on a tank depending on terrain.

I simply carry 2 MSR fuel bottles on days that I know I'll be riding longer which gets me over 70 miles.

The only reason I have decided to not do the bigger tank is I love the slim tank to seat transition and I ride up on the seat/tank predominantly and didn't want to change the ergos or feel I any way with a bigger tank.
