I just installed one on my '16 250 race. Install was easy and straight forward.

I have had two bikes with a hydraulic LHRB and both developed spongy action requiring bleeding after the brake pads were about half worn. I think the small fluid volume is the culprit.

The OX unit takes up a smaller space on the handlebar which is outstanding if keeping the stock clutch lever.
I'm primarily a foot brake user. I use the LHRB on long rocky steep downhills, and in billy goat/trials situations. Worth its weight in gold with the right foot (or both feet) on the ground.

After a 25 mi. single track test today, I"m happy. At half the price of the competition its a bargain.

andoman: does it give you good feel and can you set it up to operate both it and the clutch at the same time? I think it would come in handy for steep downhill right hand switchbacks.

same questions as mtdirtbag, wondering if it's still an option without an auto-clutch installed. i'd like to be able to either operate both or just slightly drag in the right situations.

I don't think you could set it up to operate in conjunction with the clutch. It would take some serious engineering like the CLAKE.
Being mechanical, the feel isn't as refined as a hydraulic unit. But its infinitely better feedback and more accurate modulation than the foot brake through a heavy riding boot!
I do have a Rekluse auto clutch, but I wouldn't hesitate to put the OX Brake on by its self. The ability to more accurately modulate the rear brake on steep, slick or loose, downhills is valuable. Especially when it begins to go south and the feet come off the pegs.

Thanks for that, my question regarding using it in conjunction with the clutch was not in the Clake style but the lever being set-up so that you could grab both at the same time. Guess I'll have to look at the OX website and see if it's doable, either way it would still be a help for us vertically challenged people.

One more BIG plus for the OX vs Rekluse:
On the Rekluse I always HATED that the foot brake gave direct opposite feedback into the LHRB lever. With the lever in, actuation of the foot brake would over ride the lever and force it out of my hand.
The OX is the opposite. With the lever in, actuating the foot brake takes the load off the lever making it easier to squeeze.

OX-Brake is a GREAT add-on. This thing is a simple mechanical design and works very well.
The OX uses no hydraulics, so no master cylinder to smash, leak or bleed.
OX works awesome with an Auto-Clutch and would be quite useful even without a Rekluse clutch.
