I spoke with Tim at Beta today and he thought they would be releasing Race Edition specs and pricing in the next week or so. After waiting this long, what's a few more days right?

That timing coincides with the start of the Intermot show. I'd be surprised if they have anything new up their sleeve on this model. Next month at the Eicma show I expect a surprise. We will see. Can't wait!

Nothing at Intermot ... the biggest news I expect is "oil-injection ready" 2Ts (common carb, wire harness, and CDI with RRs)

Spoke with Tim again this afternoon. race Edition intro pushed back to the EICMA show (Nov 8-9 for press/trade) to make the booth rental worthwhile Supposedly we'll still see the bikes in the States at the same time, and should be able to ride them at the dealers' meeting Nov 18.
