Hyde Racing Guards

Postby Hyde » Wed Sep 18, 2013 6:14 am

Hyde Racing just finished the two stroke pipe guard/ skid plate and the standard off road skid plate that has much better coverage than the stocker, it also uses the stock mount spots.

They also have a few carbon fiber ignition cover guards and and CF clutch cover guards.

After denting the right side pipe pretty good in a minor fall, I think I'm going this route. The potential for much greater damage is an everyday thing for me, and these have worked very well protecting the pipes on my GGs. Yeah they pack with mud but foam fixes most of that. Considering the exhaust flange is cast into the cyl this could be a very good investment depending on where you ride. Not saying the Beta is weak and its a problem, just a very real possibility. I've seen two broken KTM flanges here alone.

We've got the Hyde skid plate in stock and I'll heartily agree that it's a quality piece. The coverage is much better than stock, and after blowing several pounds of Indiana clay out from the stock plate it's much appreciated.
