Sure is. Like I said, my DRZ 400 loves the stuff and the Beta is good with it too.

Delo 400 uses more moly than Rotella - you will see oil analysis numbers on bobistheoilguy.com to confirm this. it will probably work fine - but it is safer to use rotella to avoid clutch slippage.

Delo 400 used to be my "go to oil" as well - until they changed the formulation a few years back.. I have to admit - I did shed a tear when I had to switch to rotella.

Beta recommend Liqui Moly oil in their owners manual. I think with the exception of North America where Motul is preferred. I'd suggest Liqui Moly might contain a bit of Molybdenum disulfide.

I've used Delo 400 and had zero issues with it, oil is a very personal thing and it's all about feeling comfortable more than anything.

I have a very good run with ELF- Total products and the local distributor takes care of me so I put ELF gearbox oil for motorcycles in it.
http://www.totaloil.com.au/automotive-lubricants/products-motorcycles/others/moto-gear-oil-10w40.html
Shifts smooth and no issues so far. Don't think there will be any.
Also at the price I get the products I'm not shy of changing it a bit more often if needed.

A lot of oils are overrated and definitively overpriced (motorex, motul...) I'm not saying they are bad but surely not double the quality than an other good brand to justify the double or higher price tag.
I ran my Husky FE501 on the Elf full synthetic and at the valve check interval of 120Hrs the engine looked brand new inside with no signs of wear.
The oil always came out clean and no abnormal wear on clutch or anything. I could buy a 20 L ELF full synthetic for the price of 2x 4L packs of Motorex...

I've used synthetic 10/40 auto oil lately, no slippage problems, shifts good. I've gone so far as synthetic ATF in my old bike to improve clutch drag without slippage or shift problems. I'm just so lazy that I change oil maybe once a year  , I figure maybe the synthetic will hold up better.
