FMF GNARLY

Postby Betalova » Sun May 07, 2017 3:43 pm

Spent some time today trying to install a Gnarly on my 17 300 RR. For the life of me I could not get the pipe to align in in the mounts without excessive binding or pressure. If the lower mounting tab was aligned then he rear tab was off by an extremely large measure. The muffler would need excessive force to align the mounting tabs as well. My stock pipe mounts up with no binding, pressure or force required to align any of the mounts. Wondering if anyone on here has had a similar result.

Are you positive it is a Gnarly for a Beta and not a KTM? If it is the correct pipe I would return it.

Went through three pipes before getting one that fit but still required a fair amount of persuasion to install. Not quite satisfied with the quality of this.
Surprised the stock FMF fits so well needing to help to align the mounts...
