Hi guys, what reed valve system does the beta 300 2018 use? Im having a hard time finding it. Theres no number next to “vforce” on the one installed on my bike

I think it's a V-Force 4. If you plan to replace, consider the Boyesen Rad Valve - they've always been a great performer for me.

Are you looking for replacement reeds or the whole system?

I always wondered if there was much difference between the vforce and boyesen. Vforce is supposed to have an upgraded version too? Vforce 6? Gotta check again. Not sure if there’s much performance difference felt there too. Im kind of doubting performance better but idk.. maybe longevity/ reliability? Who has changed and compared too? Not an item guys would commonly change.

Hmm I see now there’s a big difference between the vforce 3 and the vforce 4. My 15’ 300 rr has the 3. I’m guessing the 4 is on the 2018 and up Beta 250/300 but must check now. That might be a simple upgrade to do.

So those of you with 2018 Beta 300? You have a vforce4? I haven’t been able to see a source that says ehat is stock now so far.

I bought the petal kit to replace my reeds on my 16 300. The kit doesn’t come with the tool to pull the petals out. I tried using a credit card but it broke. Anybody have any thoughts?

I just ordered some replacement vforce reeds for my 15’ 300 rr from Sierra motors. It just came in the mail. I didn’t put it on yet. I didn’t know there was a special tool. I didn’t look yet.
