Spark Arrestor?

Postby redrider » Thu Jan 29, 2015 8:29 pm

Anyone have any good ideas for spark arrestors for the stock Beta pipe (2 stroke)?

Does anyone make one that fits on or inserts the Beta stock pipe? Where can I get one?

Any good quick fabrication ideas?

I'm doing the Sumter enduro this Sunday and just realized I need one

No add-on tips at this point, but Pro Circuit has joined FMF in producing USFS approved spark arrestors for the Beta 2Ts.

Here's the PC sparky. Quality is typical PC but is a little long at 18". Still waiting on the pipe.

I just drilled out the rivots and put a simple screen in and replaced the end cap with factory looking sheet metal screws. Perhaps not as efficient as the cone shaped "forestry approved" screens, but it only had to last one race.
