Whats the status of the operation?
Did you successfully changed the seals?

Im curious, started to do the seals by my self.
Already dismantled ignition side, and waterpumpside. Now have to wit for the seals i ordered, and looking for a tool to remove the crancknut.

Still waiting for parts. A little over two weeks now. So, no progress. I ordered the Motion Pro Gear Jammer tool to hold the primary drive gear against the clutch basket gear to do the seal on the primary side. Supposedly, it can also be used lock the crank shaft for removal/re-torque of the flywheel nut on the other side when replacing that seal. I picked up a Tusk flywheel holder for extra insurance - just in case.

Parts finally showed up and I did the seal on the Primary side. The Motion Pro Gear Jammer worked great for removing/replacing the primary gear. The Clutch Holding Tool worked OK for holding the clutch basket. I had to grind a bit more relief into mine to get a better bite. But once I did that, it was able to do its job. You will still need to remove the water pump cover to expose the impeller when reassembling. You will need to get the gears to line up. And, it is a lot easier to turn the impeller than pulling the case back up to move the primary gear position. Also, keep an eye on the centering pins (there are two of them). One fell onto the top of a gear when I removed the case. Fortunately, I noticed something shiny laying there before I reassembled. Because it has been so long waiting for parts, I will hold off doing the Flywheel side for another day. It is time to get the Beta back out on the dirt.

Depending on what you are doing - you need several parts. If you just want the seal and o-ring, they are listed below. But, if you are going through all of the effort to get to it, I would advise new gaskets, locking washer, and Woodruff key as well. This list is for a 2016 300, you did not state what bike you have. Also, I would buy 2 primary seals in case you screw one up. They are tricky to get in unless you have a driver of the correct size. I did not, but I froze it and was able to slowly work it in with a flat piece of steel and a small hammer. Others have suggested taking the seal to a hardware store and getting a piece of PVC that fits the outer circumference and use it as a driver. If I do it again, that is what I will do.
