I don't have a Rekluse, but wish all companies would have that kind of customer service.

Just to reiterate, the issues I had with this clutch setup was with ME and MY bike!
My requirements for the clutch action may very well be quite different than what everyone else wants, or needs. Don't let MY issues deter anyone from trying this unit out, it's quality stuff guys! You have to see it in your own hands.
Remember, they have the money back try out garantee. Don't hesitate to try it out.

Took the bike out Wed. afternoon for a test thrash, after installing the 2017 clutch assy in it. It's a whole new bike! Now the auto works like I knew it could! I installed the Radius CX with the older type clutch, and now it works perfect! Worth the extra money in parts to get this up and running. Now to sell the Kato.

I was thinking about adding the radius CX to my 18' 300rr order. So it sucks with the new hydraulic clutch? Would I be better suited to getting the Radius X instead? Is the CX that much better than the X? I don't want to have to switch to the old clutch.

If you get any, get the CX, it has more clutch friction discs and steel plates for more friction surface area.
It needs it.

I called rekluse. They said the CX is better but since I'm having it put on a brand new unridden bike the SX will be fine, said I can upgrade to the rest of the components later on.

As far as hookup goes, the Radius X will be the exact same as the CX. CX just comes with the inner hub and outer clutch cover. My buddies CRF radius X came with steel inserts for the outer basket arms. Not sure if the Beta does or not, but its a cool feature that would prevent wear on the basket arms. If the Radius X was an option when I got my Core 3 I would of went with that or the CX.

Did you inquire on the $ amount of the upgrades? I believe the SX comes with the thicker cover gasket, if they have not upgraded the material from years past it will become a problem down the line which can be fixed with the Rekluse cover ($189). I researched both and made the decision to go with the CX, I have yet to install it.

Sorry, my bad! You are right, the X does come with the torque drive plates now. I installed that one in my wifes 2017 x-trainer and it works fine.
I was thinking of my Kato 500exc, when I put the x in it, the torque drive plates wern't out yet, so I had to upgrade it later.

Sorry to hi-Jack the thread. This is Kinda off-topic but when looking at the Beta’s slave cylinders on their website there is one for running a Rekluse and one without a Rekluse. Any one know the reason for this? I can only guess adjustability but really am clueless!

Thanks, Ghost
