Filters here are easy, even one of our big on-line retailers (Rocky Mountain ATV/MC) has them.

Yes, some of the aftermarket clutch packs are junk, but some like Clutch Factory and crossover OEM alternatives are fine as long as the overall pack dimmension is retained by adjusting the thrust washer thickness. GGs use an extra pair of thinner plates, plus their baskets / PPs of late have questionable oiling. Mine squealed like a pig with typical use. I would be surprised if the Beta clutch pack is unique, at least in the critical dimmensions. Piston kit is another question, I'll need that before a clutch.

Barnett now has clutch plates listed for the Beta 2T

Still pricey at $116 for a set of frictions.

How do they compare to the $ price for OEMs? In the UK, we tend to pay in £ what you guys pay in $, even if it's made in Europe! so that's about 170% more at the moment.

I got mine through a wholesaler I use. Can't remember what I paid for them, I'll have to check my last bill.

I'm hoping he will have the SKF seals and spacers soon as well, although they have been due in since February.

I am not sure how that compares to OEM.

I haven't had to buy clutch plates since my 380 broke a friction plate many years ago. I replaced it with a Tusk set from Rocky Mountain that worked perfect. Tusk sets are like $50.

Also the oil in the Beta trans always comes out super clean, a lot cleaner than the GGs and NO crap on the magnet. I can't see buying a clutch anytime soon. Maybe more of an issue with the auto clutch guys.

The Rekluse steels use a half-moon drive to help deliver a silky-smooth feel but they only work with the Rekluse inner hub.

Yes they do, the steels seem fine. Its just the frictions that have worn
