I'd be doing a lot of my own footwork for a crossover before spending $267 USD (159 x 1.68) on a set of clutch plates, if thats really the price!
I'm just reluctant to believe Barnett would tool up for a unique part so fast. I'm not worried about this but if anyone get eyes on the piston get a number/measurements/pics of it. It should be a Vertex, and hopefully no exclusive deals made with Beta for replacement parts. I remember the $250+ GG/Wisecos thet you could only get from GG, until you found out a $120 Vertex kit for a TM250 was a perfect match, and then the Wossners and Athenas came online.

So you think they just found some from another bike that just so happened to fit? If so we need to find which ones they are.

Its quite possible from a mfg. perspective. Look at all the other crossover stuff. Certainly worth some research.

Well friction plates arrived, but were such a tight fit in the grooves on the basket I had to file edges down to help them fit.
All back together but Rekluse is still not working, clutch engages but wont work as a 'Rekluse'.
Had it apart 3 times , rebled clutch and still cant work it out. Have way to much free play at the lever but have no more adjustment ,
Going to strip down again tomorrow and measure thickness of new plates compared to old one.
Anyone have any ideas

Its Vertex from the factory, 250 is a cast item and 300, forged.
They are not that pricy though....

If you run out of adjustment (allen bolt on the slave cylinder) then put the washer from the OEM throwout on top of the the Rekluse one.
Is your clutch EXP2 or 3?
Mine is an early 2 and I had to use the extra washer but when I installed an EXP3 it was perfect.

Had this same problem. even with the adjustable slave trimmed all the way in. I called rekluse. they sent me another washer to stack on the throw out bearing. Have only ridden once since but it worked fine, and the free play gain was back within tolerance.

will try and replace washer for a slightly thicker one, hopefully that will help.
When I pull clutch lever in the seems to disengage ok, although I am not sure how far it should move.
Problem is you don't know if its all working until all back together again, then if it isn't it start again time as I did yesterday 3 times :(

Same with me. even when the auto wasn't working it still worked as a standard clutch. when I revved the engine the free play gain was almost half way to the bars. just add another shim, it'll fix it right up.
