No it doesn't. I ran the Xtrainer pipe on my 2017 300RR for a while- for about 100hrs. It certainly tames things down, but there is a noticeable loss in low-end grunt compared to the stock pipe. I would have to go up hard climbs 1 gear lower with the xtrainer pipe than I could while on the stock pipe.
I recently switched to the gnarly, and it really is a huge difference compared to the Xtrainer pipe. It has been so long since I rode with the stock pipe that I can't say what the difference is of the Gnarly vs the stock pipe (power-wise) .Gnarly is definitely more durable though. My bike sees a lot of abuse. The stock pipe was thoroughly thrashed in no time compared to how the gnarly is holding its shape.
