I don't know if it's my boots or my joints but I have problems getting my foot under the gear lever on most bikes.
On both my new 200RR and my last bike (EC300 GasGas) I have had to move the lever up 1 spline on the shaft. Unfortunately, this makes the lever just touch the chain on upshifts and changes get very notchy. The bike comes with a 15T front sprocket and available rear sprocket sizes don't go small enough to put a 14T up front and maintain the same gearing ratio. We do a lot of tarmac road work between trails in the UK and screaming a 200 round doesn't do the bike any good.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket lever with more upward bend to save me butchering the stock lever?
FYI, if anyone is buying a 2020 RR, the air filters have gone KTM style with diagonally opposed locating pins. Before anyone asks, they are not the same as KTM units in either size or shape. In the UK at the moment the filters are only available as Beta spares at twice the normal price for a TwinAir filter. Same situation for the airbox wash covers.
