2020 300 RR/RE Pipe selection

Postby LRM » Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:25 am

Anyone use a FMF Gnarly on a 2020 300 RR yet? Is it different than the OEM pipe?

According to "twowheels", the pipes are the same, but the silencers fit/mount different. So I kept my pipe when I upgraded to the 20 300 RE.

Good stuff, Two wheels is very helpful
One thing we noticed on some of the 2020's is the cable tie holding the oil tube is over tightened and has cut into the tube
Might pay to have a quick look (we noticed air bubbles in the line)

We have a couple FMF Turbine Core 2.1 spark arrestors on order … delivery is imminent on the first batch.

The 2020 Beta pipes and silencers are up on FMF's website now.
2020 200RR.
2014 300RR. Gone but not forgotten.

I spoke with FMF yesterday, and according to the Tech Dept. neither the pipe nor the silencer fit the 2020 model. They claim that the head pipe does not fit properly and we know about the mounting of the silencer.

So it looks like its new exhaust all around when needed. :(

Somebody better call Beta in Italy quick - they show the same part number for the 2019 and 2020 exhaust pipes :o
