2018 250/300rr Powervalve length

Postby humanoid » Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:45 am

Can anyone get me a measurement on the powervalve flapper for a 2018 25/300rr?

I think I have an 18 cylinder with 2016 flappers...
it's not fitting together correctly(bearings not fully seated, when bearing set screws are torqued to spec(10nm) the valve is binding/stuck)

FWIW I heard from my dealer that the exhaust valve had been redesigned on later models. He described it as tighter with more precision.

looks like it was redesigned in 2018 to a single piece valve vs the 17/older 2 piece.

looking at fiche only the valve/flapper has changed. boosters/rods/bearings etc all the same.
Iam guessing the 2018 flapper will be like 2mm shorter
