beta 250/00 who makes the OEM piston

beta 250/00 who makes the OEM piston ??? I pulled the piston out of a buddies 2017 300 and it only has a beta logo in side on the skirt
any one know and have proof on who makes them for beta. I am thinking its a cast piston

Unless something has changed recently the OEM 2T pistons are manufactured by Vertex. The image below shows the original piston on my 2016 300 next to a factory replacement piston. I don't remember seeing a Beta logo anywhere on the pistons.

Interesting about the Beta logo on the piston. I just dug into my box of Beta parts and looked at my old original piston more closely. It has the same logo. I guess I just never had reason to look closely at the markings on it, as I already had the replacement in hand when I took the old piston out.

I ordered it as part of a complete top end rebuild kit from a Beta dealer, but all the parts are all Beta.

Here's the comparable top end rebuild kit for the 250RR, or you can just buy the piston only using the part numbers in the parts catalog for around $186 or so.
