vertex 250RR piston supply

I decided that I will be using a Vertex piston for my top end rebuild.
(I am set on a vertex piston, don't try and change my mind)
I shipped my cylinder to my local dealer to get cleaned up and measured for the new piston.
they told me they can get Beta Vertex pistons from a canadian distributor (Thibault) for about half the cost compared to getting the OEM vertex from beta Canada.

long story short my dealer got a supply of 300 pistons making the mistake of forgetting I have a 250.
I got told today its gonna be a while for 250 pistons as the canadian distributor (Thibault) gets vertex direct from Italy.
it took my dealer 2 plus months to get the supply of 300 pistons and now with the CO-vid 19 crap my bet is it will be 3 months for him to get another shipment.

my dealer warns me about getting the piston from Beta Canada as it will be $$$$

the KTM 250 XC XCW pistons up to 2016 fit great. Get a Pro X or Wiseco from Rocky Mountain ATV.
