2020 200RR Jetting

What are most peoples experience with the suggested jetting chart from Beta. I know it comes jetted for 1K-3K altitude, and I"m at sea level and it should be little lean here, but it still seems a bit rich to me.

I'm in the UK and you are hard pressed to ride over 1000 ft.

Generally, all Euro bikes come too rich for us and that is mainly due to float height. It's always the 1st thing to check. I set mine at 6-7mm and use that as the base for jetting.

I currently have:

42 pilot
Suzuki NECJ needle clip 3
Stock main jet. 160, I think.

With the 42 pilot, the engine revs very high on the choke when cold. I have gone down to a 38 pilot (I don't have a 40 so haven't tried one) and that helped but I'm not sure if that will be right for riding. I'll only know post Corona virus!

The stock needle is quite a bit richer than the NECJ.

I have 2 2019s with same motor and carb. OI removed. 600ft 93 octane is stock pilot and needle 1 up on main mixed 32:1 The other runs VP race fuel , bike is completely stock jetting , air screw and idle adjusted as needed on both. They are very sensitive to air screw adjustments. Get a tusk or a slavens. I have both and recomend the much cheaper but apparently equal tusk brand. I get minimal sponge, small bit that doesn't run past the end of the can. I have no problem lofting the front wheel in second from idle. Try adjusting you air screw out first and lower your float height in the carb.
