XTrainer transmission oil capacity

Postby raoufhakam » Tue Jun 09, 2020 5:27 am

New 2019 XTrainer 300 owner here. Bike have 15 hours on it now. Did the first transmission oil change at 3 hours then again at 15 hours and in both times it barely took around 600-650mL before it started dripping out of the oil level screw hole when manual calls for 850mL.

In both times i warmed up the bike and let it drain completely by leaning it to the right to let it all drip out. Then adding oil when the bike is upright

Is that normal or am i missing something?

I’ve never measured mine when draining.
But I’ve had other bikes that would not even come close to draining all the oil when changing. One of them I had to ‘crack’ the clutch cover a bit to drain most of it.

850mL. Measure. Add oil. Don't use check bolt.

The bolt hole is the low end of the capacity. Like a car there is a high mark and a low mark on the stick. On the Beta, the hole is the minimum. I agree, just add exactly 850ml and ride. If you ask Beta or a Beta dealer they will tell you the same thing
