On a ride a couple of weeks ago on a friends farm and didn't see a piece of barbed wire fence and hit it with my bike, the wire cut through the front brake line and a bit of a cut on my leg but no other damage. I have a new replacement brake line installed but struggling to get fluid through it to the caliper. Whats the best procedure to bleed and get pressure back in my lever? will a syringe and tube sucking on caliper end do the job?

Pulling a vacuum from the bottom should be the fix, or alternatively you can force fluid up from the bottom. The goal of course is to chase all of the air out, independant of the direction.
