390 performance mods

Postby Seattle300rr » Tue Nov 27, 2018 8:36 am

Is there anyone on here that has done dyno runs with different pipes and map settings on the 390? I’m hindsight I might have bought the Race Edition but I bought the RR-S and I’d rather just tune it than sell to find a RE.

I’d like to see some proof about the power differences with the powerbomb specifically. I’d prefer to keep the bike quite.

I bought a powerbomb used for about $110 and it seems like a worthwhile upgrade for the price. It feels like there is a bit more power everywhere.

If you want performance out of any RR-S today switch out the stupid street gearing to something like 13-50 or 13-51. You will be seriously impressed and enjoy your bike much more off road

I'm told the best combo of power is the powerbomb, reflash, and stock silencer

Beta Dealers can apply the FMF map with their BST tool. Docs say you need the FMF header and the muffler from FMF.
