Which oil stops clutch drag?

Postby Russtee » Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:58 pm

I have tried a few different oils to reduce clutch drag.
Anyone had any luck with different combinations?

They all drag a little with the older clutch. Had the best luck with Penrite HPR5. Is it the drag or finding Neutral thats the issue.

Another Hornets nest about to be kicked. :D

I have used ATF type F oil (2015 Beta 390 ) and it eliminates the drag.

Install a Rekluse and your problem is gone!

Nice plus is that the bike is better than out of the factory, more forgiving during jumps applying the rear brake.

If you use Synthetic ATF, you won't have any clutch drag. :D

Take the judder spring out, clutch drag goes away and you can find neutral when you are stopped.
