2010 450RR

Hi All,
I looking at buying a 2010 450rr with only 1000ks the bloke(Im from Australia) selling it says it starts with the kicker easily but the magic button doesn't work. I don't have anymore details but just wondering what are some of the issues that would prevent this button from working? I know there is blown fuses to dirty connections in the button, any other issue's that I should be weary of that could cost a bomb?
