I also took the reed spacer out to buy a little more room on my 2014 300RR.

Clever. What was your impression then of the power characteristics with the SC? Did you try the Keihin with the spacer removed as well?

That used to turn GG300s into handfuls sometimes.

I did not try it with the keihin only my lectron and could not tell a difference in power or power delivery. Metering Rod carbs really smooth out the power band. The Lectron made a smooth bike smoother.

We did our annual LRBDS (Last Ride Before Deer Season) Friday and temps ranged from 27-32F (as in 'F it's cold'). The 2.5gallon tank was a Godsend as I went on reserve 37.8 miles into a 40.4 mile ride on the 250RR.

Jetting was perfect, just as I've come to expect from following the supplied chart.

I also got to go ride yesterday. 67 miles of single track starting at 1700 ft absl to 5800 ft absl. Just recently switched to a richer metering rod and the adjustment is spot on. I never hit reserve! Although I was close. FWIW I completely emptied my stock tank and could only get 2.4 into it.

I was a little lean with full throttle operation. Corey at APT swapped me out with a richer metering rod. All good now but my mileage dropped slightly. I hit reserve at 38-40 miles now (at 800ft. above sea level).

65kms from 9.5L ..but at bloody cold. What kind of economy are you getting at say 30C / 85-90F?

Right about 17 mpg (US), so 3.78l for 27.2km ... roughly ;)
