It's the fixed plastic chain slider on the frame under the front of the swing arm. They call it a "shoe" in the parts list, think I make this shit up? :D

Good info. I might suggest my mate gives the NECJ a go. I know they work well in the ktms compared to the stock N2ZJ. Thats with our skippy fuels and conditions.

Our fuel is crap and the weather never got real hot this year, so no rich issues. Your not that far from the equator, and Hammer I suspect has somewhat better fuel in Canada. Betas are much more consistant.

Well I repacked my silencer today, and while good to see what it looked like it was not necessary at all. Looked more like a 4stroke can inside, no oil soaked glass, core perforations open, everything intact. Maybe the fact that I shortened it three inches helped.

The bloke who I was asking the question on behalf of ended up first confirming and adjusting the float level, and then lifting the clip on the stock needle and was still getting some blubber off idle and poor economy. Gave the NECJ needle a go. May need to jump up a size on the pilot to get some grunt back, but much improved economy and nice smooth trail manners.

What altitude are you at GMP and Jakobi? Also are you both working with 250s or 300s?

It is my understanding that the N1Ex needles are 1/2 clip richer than the NOZx needles. Is that correct?

How do the NEDx needles compare to the N1Ex and NOZx needles?

Thanks for any info you may have. I have some of each of these needles from GG and Beta, and though the Beta seems to be jetted VERY well per the chart, I like to investigate sometimes. Especially the 1/2 clip variants if they are truly just 1/2 clip different length.

Hello there, I'm just getting my head around this new bike 15 300rr, I'll be using it mainly for trail and single track with the odd enduro practise events. I've set it up to the jetting chart and the bike feels extremely responsive. Don't want to cook it though any advice would this be too lean for the type of riding I'll be using it for.
Thanks in advance

If you are following the jetting chart you will be a bit rich if anything.
