I have that kit too, I thought that was a road gear job as my bike came in the box without any road kit fitted.

Have to say I put the map switch on my 250rr and it really takes away the edge, very noticeable.

Ned, the 2013 discs were soft and wore badly, improved for 2014. I think that you should get replacements through Beta UK. Talk to John Lampkin, top bloke.

I have a 2nd jet kit which is the homologation set. God knows how you could even start the bike with them in as they are so small. Only fit for the bin or a 50cc moped.

I thought i would just throw this in the mix,
I have a 2014 300rr Racing and i contacted S Plain about jetting recomendations, i have just been sent in the post a 178 main jet and a 42 pilot the needle will be the N2ZW with the circlip on the 3rd position.
I have fitted and will be testing at the weekend so i will see what this does, i know it will use more fuel but TBH i dont realy care if it goes faster....

I will report next week.

That sounds crazy rich, way off the chart unless your running some very odd fuel. Something is very wrong if you have to think about going that rich.

Believe it or not, this is exactly what I thought to post but then had some work and didn't.

Yes this is very rich BUT the guys in the EWC are running quite rich (not only Beta but almost everyone) in order to fight overheating from continuous WOT.
Still not that rich.... :o

Quick update, the bike ran better.
Lots more low down grunt with no bogging on long steep wooded uphills, just lots more power and the bike seemed crisper off the throttle.
Granted it did use more fuel but it was more fun....
I know it is running rich but for the price of a couple of jets (£15) it is worth a shot..

On cold early spring/late fall days I never even go that rich on main and pilot, do use the N2ZW though. Maybe one up on the pilot and two on the main, tops. Do other bikes in your ara on the same fuel tend to run much richer jetting than standard? Here in the US they all seem to run great stock if your in that range on the jetting chart, and the chart corrections for altitude and temp have been perfect.
