Fuel pouring from bowl vent hose.

The fuel is pouring from bowl vent hose after changing jets. Checked float height and everything seems ok. Any ideas?

Won't stop unless I turn off gas

Float or float needle is stuck.

Did you take the bowl off during the jetting change?

If not more than likely a piece of crud has gotten stuck in the float needle.

Tap on the bowl with a screw driver handle to see if that stops it.

If not, remove the fuel line hose from the tank and blow compressed air in it. Make sure the compressed air is set at 10 psi and no more. If you do not have a compressor try just blowing in it.

If none of that works, you will need to take the bowl off, remove the float, float needle and give it a good cleaning.

Thanks for the help. Took the float needle out and found a piece of crud of some sort.
