Sounds exactly like what I'm running on my 250RR (thanks to GP). Winter 170 main, 40 pilot, NEDH clip 3. Fall / Spring 168 main, 38 pilot, NEDW clip 3. Summer, to be determined. I have the NECW and NECH needles to play with as well.

What is your elevation?

Just picked up 3 of the four. Still waiting on the NEDJ...but no rush on that one. Put the NEDW in at clip 3. Might have to wait awhile till getting to take it for a ride. Gotta work over the weekend and it’s supposed to dump 2ft of snow.. At least Baker will be good.
Now I wanna get the H and K on order. Is the consensus that the NED_ series are the go to needles in the PNW? If so, I won’t order the CH or CK. Thanks in advance.

Picked up the last one to come in to the dealer. 2 weeks. Holy hell. Ordered the DH, CH, and DK from bike bandit. Waited a week so far with those as well. These needles must be getting harder to come by

If you rideing on sea lvl , than DH,W and DJ is enough , the CW and CJ are half clip leaner but the starting dia is the same , for fine tune

I ride mostly 1000’ to 5000’. Tried to keep jet according to the chart and smoked my exhaust o-rings within 10hours. My jetting is more by sound and feel. I just bought the extras incase, because, and why the hell not.

Outside: 44degF (7degC), 1000-1500' elevation (305-457m), raining
PJ: 40
AS: 1-1/4 turns out
Needle: NEDH clip 3
MJ: 172
Motul 800T, 50:1...90oct ethanol free
BR7ES

She felt like she could go to the NEDG or F, 175mj and still love it. Very little spooge. Yeeeesh

She’s a 300. Switched from stock BPR7ES to BR7ES. I’m going to try dropping the clip to position 4 before getting more needles for the midrange. Had a spot to open her up to check the 172mj

And here I am fouling plugs and spooging like crazy on a 250 with,

PJ: 38
AS: 2.5 turns out
Needle: NEDW clip 3
MJ: 168
Motul 710, 50:1...91oct ethanol free

And a 250 typically requires richer jetting.
