so, if i change power valve settings do i need to rejet?

thinking of turning in "clockwise" the power valve to reduce the power a bit.

still being a newbie to beta......is that how it would work?

still many more questions to follow,
thanks,

No you should not have to re-jet if it is correct/the way you want now.

Yes you turn the dolly screw clockwise to increase the preload on the PV spring. This make the PV open later in the RPM range. Thus making the motor respond to throttle input slower, giving more bottom in a lugging ability.

Turning the dolly screw counter clockwise makes the motor more hyper, like for use on an MX track

A little at a time is best for determining what you like. 1/8-1/4 turn per adjustment.

well i adjusted the power valve - turned in (clockwise) 3 full turns from all the way out(counter clockwise).
so 3 full turns in and map on rain mode seems to give me the mellow "bottom end" i was looking for.
still good throttle response in mid range.

xtrainer is comming along. still chasing more miles per tank.
