trun signal wiring

Postby Sweepea » Mon Dec 11, 2017 9:21 am

I'm wiring up a set of LED front and rear turn signals and need a bit of help. I found the 4 leads for the front signals and the L-shaped resister plug behind the headlight. At the rear, I found the 4 leads for the signals and this two pronged mystery plug with black/white leads. Do the rear signals need their own resister? What is the mystery plug for?

Might be for the license plate light as it is in the same area as the turns on a RS.

Just a tip. The idea of LED lights is to avoid busted bulbs but also to lower the electricity usage.
By using resistors you void the later. Leave the resistors out and fit an LED flash box instead!
You save power to charge the battery or to use for GPS or something. Also saves messy wiring and having to find a spot for the stupid resistors.
