2022 300 rr tail light

In regard to the above bike.
I haven't noticed before, but only one side of the rear light bar lights up while running. While applying the rear brake the whole bar lights. Clear lights are always on.
Is this normal?

Not normal on my Xtrainer, all rear lights, light up. wish i could help you on whats wrong, but i dont know.
did you by any chance install a tool bag or something on the rear fender? i did and screwed right thru the wiring.

Nothing installed on the fender. Harness looks fine. Do think moisture got in through the grommet. No components looked toasted. I removed the lens.
I suppose I'll check the resistors.

probably moisture damage. just replace the led light. they are not expensive

i am sure you can pick up a new one at most beta dealers, or chance it on amazon.

Thanks for the assistance. Replaced three LEDs due to moisture.

where were you able to find the individual LED bulbs?

I used regular 2.5 volt LED's I had, Two red and a green. Drilled out the reflector.

I had searched online for surface mount LEDs before I just used what I had. I found the cost of replacing the whole assembly a bit much.
I haven't installed it yet but for woods riding I think it will be OK.
