XT Stator test

Postby Revok27 » Wed Apr 03, 2024 7:53 pm

Hi, long story short, the bike wont charge the battery fast enough, it is a li-ion noco new batterie. I had a power drain due to corroded wiring and stuff. I fixed all this, the battery is fine even after a week or two without starting the bike. I wired the fan so it runs even if the bike is not running (like my other ktm bike) because we do very technical/slow stuff. With all the fan time plus starting the bike very often, the stator cant charge the batt enough while riding.

I checked the ohm of all wires and there is a short between the white and ground, and yellow and ground, is that normal? The energizer (blackred and whitered) seems ok...

How to correctly test a single phase stator ?!

Did you solved the situation? I have the same situation in a 200RR 2023. When i make slow technical trials the fan turns on all the time and the batery doesn´t charge. The voltage drops to 10 volts when the fan is on.

I changed the battery, the diodes and the same situation.
