Where is your pv set at? Would the hot setting be better in say sand and the cold better in the slow technical stuff?

I haven't touched my PV. The aggressive setting better for wide open riding like in the desert or sand where traction is not an issue.

***Just an update***

Beta 2015 Models both 4 Stroke and 2 Stroke have a switch available from Beta USA. The 300RR is default on map 1 which is the soft mapping.

With the simple addition of the switch you have both mappings available. See PDF below:

It looks like a 5 minute job. :)

One wire needs to be grounded and the other connects to this one

It is tucked well away in a bundle of wires by the coil.

Also being very anal about keeping my handlebars as uncluttered as possible, I decided to use and combo start switch. This part is KTM part # 59011074100 and has a start button and a locking type "kill switch". Press it once it locks in (circuit closed), press again and it releases (circuit open). Perfect.

I copied this setup with the same switch, then moved the Beta start switch over and wired it as the kill switch. Thanks for posting this Enmerdeur! This is a much better setup!!!

Enmerdeur, is the double blue wire the one that needs to be grounded?
