2016 300rr gauge battery solved for good

Ah, right. I hadn't realised that the clock manufacturer had changed. I realised that my clock had one less button than the Endurance 2 but thought it was just an upgrade.
Oh well, no problems. I will just re-instate the original wiring and put up with the battery changes I suppose. As nice as it is to have it running of the 12v battery it would start to annoy me being lit up all the time while it's parked up in the garage.
