Can you remove the starter without removing the engine from the frame first?
I have starter trouble and this might be the issue.

Hi,

I have just bought the alternative from Mitsuba:
https://www.ridewill.it/p/en/mitsuba-v5 ... -15/60476/
You save app 100€ and inside it is the same.
Only the first part it is a bit longer and the attachement to the motor housing is different, but you can take these two parts from your old starter. Usually the problems are with magnets and brushes, these you get new. I have tried to reglue the old magnets, but this only solves the issue for some time. And you need to reglue them fast, before they will become demaged and cracked inside.
Good luck,
Ales
