My 390rr-s has been blowing one of the fuses under the seat on occasion. It seems to happen either when the bike is shut off or turned on. I can't figure out when it's popping the fuse. What I do know is this.
Sometimes when I turn the power on using the key the engine light does not come on. When I see that I know the bike will not start. The starter button does nothing at all. I check the fuses and one is blown. I tried recreating this problem by shutting the bike off in the 3 ways I know how.
1. turning the key to the off position
2. using the kill switch
3. holding the front brake and letting out the clutch while in gear
At home I can't recreate the problem but it happened to me twice on 1 ride and 4 times on another ride. Both times it happened I would say the bike was pretty warm but not over heating.
Couple other things I noticed was the speedo quit working and the fan is not coming on at 220 degrees.
Anybody have any ideas of what I should be checking?
