Fuel Level Gauge

Postby oldman » Sun Oct 20, 2019 6:44 pm

Has anyone figured out why the Beta fuel level gauge does not work properly?? My 19 500RRS gauge worked ok on the first tank of gas. Then it started flickering on the 2nd or 3rd tank with plenty of fuel still in the tank, then the low fuel lite started staying on all time even with a full tank. Thinking the fuel sender unit in the tank was the culprit I replaced it with at new one with no change. Fuel low lite is still on with a full tank of fuel at all times.

Anyone here figured out what the root cause of this problem is?? If so please share. Thanks

If you scroll down 10 places to other pasts in this category you will see why this is happening. Same thing happened to my ‘19 430 and many others too. Yes, float related. The float and/or coating on the float that Beta uses is inferior and fails. You can see what I did to help this. So far, after many months mine is still working. Good luck!
