Map Switch Removal and Low Fuel Light

Postby algs911 » Tue May 12, 2020 9:06 am

2020 Beta 390 RR-S. I've got two topics I'd like some advice on...

1) I never use the map switch. This is my dirt bike that doesn't see road use. I wanted the dual sport so I can, three times a year or so, go on an organized dual sport ride. Question, can I simply unplug and remove the map switch and will it stay in "Dry" mode?

2) The low fuel light comes on, then off, then on, then off ALL THE FLIPPIN TIME! It did this since new. Any fixes before I just remove the darn thing or put a piece of tape over it?

Thanks!

instead of removing the the map switch, why don't you just relocate it out of the way. I mounted mine on the steering lock. out of the way out of sight out of mind. My fuel light did the same thing from day one. I just removed the light bulb.
