Beta Speedo and sensor cable

Postby davegp15 » Sat Oct 10, 2020 6:14 am

Does anybody knows who's making the beta speedometer ? It look a lot like the KOSO Enduro model ? I need a sensor cable and the beta one are back order i can't get one. I was wondering if i can use a Koso sensor and cable and just change the connector

It's not KOSO, it's an Spanish company Facomsa:

Regarding the signal from the wheel, it's a normal low-high signal with two cables, you could use any of the available magnets sensors and cable.

Cheers !

For years Beta has been using 3rd-party speedos with bezels modified to accommodate Beta-specific indicator lights and associated wiring (i.e. warning for low level in the oil tank and ECU detection of OI system failure etc.)

2013-2016 bikes used a modified Trail Tech Enduro II.
2017-2019 bikes used a modified Facomsa Everest.
2020-2021 bikes appear to be using a modifed KOSO EX‑02S Street Version speedo.

I have no knowledge whether the KOSO speed sensor will work with the Beta version, but my guess is that the chances are good.
