Wire cleanup

Postby betascott » Sat Jul 10, 2021 11:46 am

Has anyone cleaned up the rats nest of wires behind the headlight mask?I have got rid of some but I want to eliminate the bulky kill switch and just go with the single button.it would like to know what kill switch is just a plug and play.i would rather not cut any wires.iam too cheap and don't see a need for the racing harness.all I need is kill, start, and headlight. Thanks for the help

I bought the Sicass racing Kill/Starter switch and their headlight switch. They are both plug and play. It cleaned up the handlebar area nicely. Then I just zip tied everything behind the headlight to keep it out of the way. I also used some dielectric grease on the plugs that looked the most prone to water influx. Mine is a 16 300. If you have an 18 or later, then I don't know if they work.
