Where to source some electrical components!?

I'm thinking ahead here, I've got a problem with my 250rr not sparking and I fear it's going to be a "diagnosis by replacement" scenario. I can't find anything other than the stator on eBay and it's from China. It might be worth a go but apart from that I can't find ignition coils or cdi units. Would the parts from a KTM 250exc be a direct fit? They are basically the same bike. I can't imagine dealer prices being reasonable for this, the network seems very amateur.

I would recommend to first replace the spark plug. If their is still no spark check the ohm resistances of the stator, the ignition pick up, and the ignition coil primary and secondary winding as per the readings listed for your bike at Beta USA, support, service manual for your bike. A cheapo ohm meter from Harbor Freight and 30 minutes of testing should give you a good idea whether or not these parts involved in making the spark happen are working. If they pass the test then you may need a new cdi unit.

I would agree to check everything first. Paying close attention to clean all of the exposed contacts. As for replacements, I have "heard" that the KTM Coils on the 2 strokes are a direct replacement. At least on 2016 and 2017 models. Newer ones I do not know.

I've a stator I'd sell. Off a 20' 250rr, used once.

$130 shipped in the lower USA.
