'16 xt electrical issues
Posted: Sun Jun 19, 2022 3:49 amWe just picked up a 16 strainer for my son. It runs well and is in good running shape. But there is no power to the dash or lighting.
The oiler and kill switch function but nothing else.
Not a huge issue right now as he is 14 so won't need street legal for 2 years, but I want it right. It's a nice bike
Fuses and Battery are good and I probed the connectors up front and at the taillight with no result. Since we just picked it up yesterday that is as far as I have checked.
Looking for guidance as I am "Mechanical" but in no way a Mechanic (carpenter here). What is the first most obvious thing to search for after that?
