Ultimate answer probably not. I think a Mr. Fusion might bet the ultimate answer. Best answer at the moment? I would argue yes.

If you have issues with a stock battery in good condition it's likely not the battery. In this case LiOn will not help. Assuming there are no other issues, the bike starts so easy it shouldn't matter what battery is in it. The big advantage is weight. Even the EarthX, regarded as the best with internal cell balancing, can fail.

update,

Bike was off trickle charger for over 24 hours. voltage is at 13v at Battery. starts fine.

seems to be that funky fuse behavior.
