USB thingy with my 430RS

I got what looks like a little USB drive or connector with my RS. I skimmed the owners manual CD but couldn't find any mention of it. Is it for the Voyager? I don't remember it when I had a Voyager before but then my memory isn't always that good anyway.

I'll try to remember a photo but I think it's an adapter for the micro card in the Voyager. They don't specifically mention an adapter but they do talk about downloading updates from PC.
