Excellent news. Of course it would have been better if there were no issues at all. But, the fact Beta recognizes that there is a problem and has offered a solution is great news. I am still putting hours on mine now that the snow has melted. I expect that when I take it back in for the second inspection, there will be that all too familiar chocolate malt for outer tube fork oil. Hopefully Beta will agree that there is a problem (especially since I was one of the first to bring it to their attention), and offer me a similar resolution.

Because of the dirty metaled fluid and wear inside the upper fork tube and the wear pattern where the bushing fits on the lower tubes Beta is sending my dealer new upper and lower fork tubes along with new bushings and seals to be covered under warranty.
The problem now is that both upper and lower tubes are on backorder. Since Beta is sold out of these parts I suspect I'm not the only person having this problem.
My bike is a 2017 300RR, 3 months old, has 58hrs on it.

I hope Beta has found the root cause of the problem and is not just replacing with the same parts. In any case when I get the new outer tubes I will be sending them in to get a Hard Anodizing coating done.

I'm just curious. does anodizing change the dimensions like plating with hard chrome?

Hard anodizing effects the metal below the original surface and grows some on top besides.

So if I get the new upper tubes Hard Anodized will it cause insufficient clearance resulting in stiction?

No. You are looking at .002" max on the ID.

I thought most modern forks were hard anodized from the factory? Are these Sachs CC forks bare aluminum on the inside? I have not opened mine up yet.

i think i may be a victim of this! 2017 factory with cc forks. 3 months old and four fork oil changes and dirty every time ( thats about every 8 hours).i guess ill be raising a warranty claim but if i dont or they refuse then how long have i got before these forks give up the ghost and what is the first bad symptom i will see? will it be leakage or play between top and bottom of leg? the action of the fork is bloody good and im very happy with the bike.
