Care to share your valving with us?

I could do that but let me see how it works in the sand first. I set it up for a more broad spectrum of terrain, as our series is very diverse. I think your looking for a desert setup right? You may end up closer to the YZ valving than me, but that '13 YZ valving is super stiff! What I can say for sure is do not lighten the rebound or the bike will scare the poo out of you. It exaggerates the light front end feel of the bike and makes it very unpredictable. I'm running .45 kg springs and its about perfect in the woods. I cut the perches to drop the preload to 4mm. Your 450F forks should be 5mm longer than the Sachs, 10mm longer than my 250F KYBs, so 2nd line or 10mm at the top clamp is standard height.

I think for my first pass I am just going put in the .45 springs and try it to get a base line. I already mounted the right leg just to see what it looked like when positioned the same as the Sachs and all looks good.

Thats good, so the lug offset is indeed the same. I could not do that check with mine. .45s should be good if your around 180lbs. You may want to reduce the preload a few mm though, depending on what it is stock. Mine was 8mm.

I am 170 but I always prefer stiffer springs, especially for desert work

Well I changed my shock oil and sure enough it looked great at 50hrs. No contamination. Viscosity breakdown is anyone's guess. Anyway very impressive quality on the parts and coatings, never saw anything that clean.

The stainless steel Beta wheel to YZ KYB forks will be available next week, pull out the RH and LH stock Beta spacers replace and go.

Were also working on an aluminum brake line clamp that bolts onto the Yamaha fork guard so it lines up the brake line in the correct position.

So this is a business venture now? Wow. Hope the drawings and pics were clear enough.

I designed those spacers. They are for '08+ YAMAHA KYB SSS forks using the Beta wheel, not the Husky KYBs I beleive you have. The lugs are completely different.
