You can play a bit on how much up or down you pull the cable and the hose before you tighten them on the fork plastic guard.

Well I tried the a set of the Ms48WP and they had about 1/4" gap to join together on my Sachs tonight. So I will try to order some of the MS48-KM and try them. What year model and make bike do these fit?

Wouldn't seal savers protect the fork legs along with the obvious seal protection?

That's the SKF number. I'm going to order some from 650 Racing in San Carlos. I see you're in NorCal too.

Inntech is the US distributor and they have a dealer search on their website.

Hi!

I wanted to inform you that the OEM KTM protector rings do not fit well on the Sachs forks. It seems that they are pushed out by the tube more than it should be and the lower tube protectors cut through them on both sides pretty quickly, within a few rides. I even installed KTM style lower tube protectors (8 cm diameter vs 7 cm of the OEM Beta) but still they touch a lot on both sides.

I'm too cheap to pay $40 for the skf....if I was servicing the forks and replacing the scrapers I'de buy them for sure...

for now I just used some quick steel expoxy rolled intto a nice 1/8" x 2" worm and applied to the fork where the wear clip would be and 1200 miles later it's still perfect....a little ghetto I know, but it will knock right off when it's time to replace it and it was basically free!

Too cheap? Holy shit look at your bike! I'll have to take a pic of my 120 hr scrapers and you won't beleive it. You do not have to break down the forks or even remove them for install, they are split and fit tight at the joint with a small cotter pin. Easy R&R for cleaning in a minutes.

Missed you at Tuxedo. I think I have to tame my forks back down a hair, a bit stiff for the abuse and held me back a little.
