Search this forum.. not 100% sure, but it is like this:

YZ250f/450f - 06,07 - 35mm offset, 56 upper diam, pow13.

maybe 08,09 -35mm ?? offset, 56 upper diam,pow106. - im not sure here

Newer YZ-f (from 2012? ) are upper diam. 54mm, but 32 mm offset !!
WR - from 12- SSS forks, diam. 56mm, offset 35 mm

You can safely machine down 56mm to 54mm. Cartrige must be turned down too..

Forks from 450f are 10mm longer than forks from 250f.
Sachs are exacatly between 450f -5mm / 250f +5 mm.

you need brake caliper POW13 for older and POW106 newer fork lugs - different hole pattern
check this at braking web or here:
http://www.oemcycle.com/Item/product/900091309

You need:
Yamaha fork guards, wr/yzf axle
+ new wheel spacers with ID=Yamaha Axle,
length of the spacers - maybe someone can post this info here. ??

EDIT:
Spacer length:
- non brake side - Standard = beta spacer with ID for Yamaha Axle
- brake side - Standard length -4 /4,5/ mm, this bring wheel in center.
- brake caliper need some shim (approx 1.5 mm) between caliper and lug - for rotor vs.caliper centering
Forks are from YZF250f/2006, other forks can have different lugs dimensions !

I finished this project yesterday.
It was not so much work. And it was pretty cheap too.
I buyed this forks long ago for my WR450 for 150 Euro + 45Euro caliper + 20 Euro Plastics, fork oil and some work. Yes and bottle of wine for machining down the upper fork tubes and new spacers !

After a one test ride:
Really worth the effort !!
It is now sooo much better ! I just dont belive, how much better it is now ! Wow !
Beta should mount this forks directly !!

Before this. i thinked, maybe i sell the bike and buy Yamaha again..
But beta has its potential in perfect motor and overal geometry.

Thanks for this idea !!

Need some confirmation ...
Are the 08' YZF450 forks a 35mm or the 32mm offset ???
Can get some at a good price but dont want to lash out for them only to realise they are wrong !!!
